In Loving Memory of Marjorie May Tradup May 31, 1939 – September 18, 2025 Marjorie May Tradup, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and friend, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 18, 2025. She was 86 years old. Born on May 31, 1939, in Plainview, Minnesota, Marjorie was the youngest of seven children. She grew up surrounded by family, faith, and a small- town community that shaped her gentle heart. She married her high school sweetheart, Edward Tradup and together they began a beautiful life journey that took them to San Diego, California. Here, they welcomed their cherished daughters Elizabeth and Pamela, but because Ed didn’t want to raise his girls in the city, the family moved to Brewster, Washington. Elizabeth, who married Eric, blessed Marjorie with three wonderful grandchildren—Evynn (married to Sam), Eli (married to Sidney), and Easton (married to Allie) —and three treasured great-grandchildren, Remi, Lane, and Myah. Her daughter Pam, who married John, added two grandsons, Quinton and Clayton. They were all constant sources of joy. Marjorie had a way of making everyone she met feel cared for. She always carried a smile on her face and a prayer in her heart. She nourished others not only with her love but with her apple crisp and homemade apple chips, which became her signature treats. Saturdays were often spent at garage sales, hunting for treasures, but her greatest joy came from time with her family. Marge especially loved watching her grandchildren play sports. When she couldn’t be there in person to watch Eli and Easton—like during Thanksgiving visits to see Pam in California—she would tune in on the radio just so she wouldn’t miss a moment. She shared a special, laughter-filled bond with her granddaughter Evynn, with whom she could laugh until tears ran down their cheeks. Throughout her life, Marjorie was a devoted wife to Edward. Together, they shared early adventures at the Bonneville Salt Flats, raising their girls, and in later years they enjoyed trips to the ocean for seafood and sightseeing. Her faith remained the guiding light of her life. She trusted deeply in God’s promise and held firm to the assurance that one day she would be welcomed into Heaven. Marjorie will forever be remembered for her unwavering faith, her warm smile, her boundless love for her family, and her kindness to everyone she encountered. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith that will live on through all who knew her. The Tradup family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the many wonderful caregivers who supported Marge throughout the years, both in her home and at Harmony House. Their kindness and care blessed both Marge’s life and that of her family. “Her children rise up and call her blessed.” – Proverbs 31:28 Services to celebrate Marge’s life will be held at Hope Lutheran Church, Brewster, WA on October 4th, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. A private family burial will be held later.
