April 5, 1951 - August 15, 2017
*ATTENTION* Hi everyone, Nancy and Amy have made the decision to postpone Greg’s Celebration of Life until next spring when Nancy returns from San Diego. She is recovering well from her surgery and the doctor has cleared her to fly south as soon as next week if everything continues to go well. Nancy and Amy have tentative plans to fly down to San Diego next Tuesday. Once we set a date next spring, you will all be notified of the new date. Thanks to everyone who helped Nancy through Greg’s passing and her own illness. She really appreciates everyone’s efforts on their behalf and none of you have gone unnoticed! Leslie Burns Obituary to follow: Gregory W. ‘Greg’ Parker, of Manson, WA passed away August 15, 2017 after a valiant battle with cancer. He was always a “people” person and loved to meet people and share stories. In these years, Greg's faith in Jesus was reawakened as he participated in church in San Diego, bible studies and leaned into new relationships in the church that helped support him in the midst of transition. He was also a dedicated member of the Chelan Lion’s Club, helping plan the annual Lion’s Club Golf Tournament and participating in vision and hearing testing at the local schools.
